真空管は魅力的なレトロテクノロジーの一部であり、現在ではオーディオ愛好家の間で非常に人気があり、ハイエンドなアンプやラジオ、楽器の機材に引けを取りません。
しかし、私たちが日常的に所有し、楽しんでいる最も一般的な機器のひとつであるBluetoothスピーカーは、なぜか真空管とはあまり結びつきません。
スピーカーは本当に安価で、文字通りどこでも簡単に手に入るものですので、万人向けではないかもしれないですが、達成電器はこの製品を提供します。リビングルームや寝室に、忘れられないような素朴な雰囲気を与えたい人や、音の存在感だけでなく、その表現力や質にもこだわる人には、間違いなくマッチする製品だと思います。
その上、Yojimbo(日本語で「守護者」を意味)という名のこの製品は、ちょうど真空管が次の大きな流行となった頃に作られた、私たちのお気に入りの象徴的な映画の1つへの言及でもあり、日本で設計され手作業で作られています。現時点では300〜400個程度の製造しない予定ですが、「日本製」というラベルが家電製品にどのような重みを持っていたかを覚えている人たちにアピールできればと思っています。
Yojimboには真空VUメーターが搭載されており、再生中のオーディオ・トラックを視覚的に鮮やかに繰り返し表示するほか、高音／低音調整ノブ、そして携帯電話よりも目覚めに最適な7桁の目覚まし時計が搭載されています。
Bluetoothスピーカーとしてだけでなく、光、RCA、同軸、3.5mm、さらにはUSB DAC入力に対応する通常のアンプとしても機能します。通常のパッシブ・スピーカーと互換性があり、100W Type-C電源または標準的なバレル・ジャック・アダプターのどちらでも動作します。
パッシブ・スピーカーが2つ付属しているので、お取り扱いにご注意の上、1960年代に戻ったかのようにお楽しみください。

Vacuum tubes are a charming piece of retro technology that is quite popular with audio enthusiasts nowadays, and there is no lack of high-end amplifiers, radios or musical instruments equipment available.
However somehow perhaps the one of the most common devices that people own and enjoy using daily – bluetooth speaker, isn’t typically associated with vacuum tubes.
Tassei Denki would like to offer a product that might not be for everybody – since speakers are really cheap and can be easily obtained from literally anywhere. But it’s definitely a good match for those who would like to give their living room or bedroom this amazing unforgettable touch of the simpler times, or those who no longer just care about the presence of sound but its presentation and quality as well.
On the top of that, Yojimbo – Japanese for “the guardian”, and a reference to one of our favorite iconic movies made a while ago, just about the time vacuum tubes were the next big thing, is a product designed and hand-crafted in Japan. Granted, we don’t plan to make too many – at this point, only 300-400 pieces, and we hope to appeal to those who remember what weight this label – “made in Japan” used to have when it comes to consumer electronics.
Yojimbo comes with a vacuum VU meter as well which vibrantly repeats visually whatever audio track you might be playing, treble / bass adjustment knobs and most certainly, a seven-digit alarm clock which is just so much nicer to wake up to rather than your mobile phone.
It can act not only as a bluetooth speaker but also as a regular amplifier that accepts optical, RCA, coaxial, 3.5mm and even USB DAC inputs. It’s compatible with regular passive speakers and works from either a 100W Type-C power supply or a standard barrel jack adapter.
Two passive speakers are included, handle with care and have fun like it’s the 1960s again.
